I’m fascinated by the beauty of pregnancy and the body’s natural adaptations – so many of which make it easier to grow and birth a baby and optimise your strength, when complemented with truly tailored training.

A great workout during and after pregnancy will look different to everybody, but every body is capable and deserving of a great workout.

Safe pregnancy workouts should consider your fitness prior to pregnancy, your activity levels since, any special obstetric circumstances, your maternal history, and your own personal goals.

A structured, progressive return to exercise postpartum is fundamental to your personal wellbeing and your ability to thrive in those early, intensive weeks with a new baby. Among the benefits of postnatal personal training are the highly specific adaptations we make to your breathing, posture, weight selection and pelvic floor conditioning in order to optimise your return to pre-pregnancy strength (and then some!).

We can typically begin after your six-week check-up with your obstetrician; although I always recommend an additional visit to one of my preferred women’s health physios.
